In the forthcoming months, all of our supporters must join with us in lobbying all prospective Parliamentary candidates around the UK. A letter has been drafted by us and will be available for download from our website as soon as the election date is formally released. Once we know which MPs are on our side, we can look to effect real change to protect our cemetery.

The Secretary of State in charge of overseeing the Heathrow expansion and ultimately to put the road through the cemetery is Lord Adonis. His address is: Department for Transport, 1/26 Great Minster House, 76 Marsham Street, London SW1P 4DR

If you live outside of the Borough, write to your local MP. If you are unsure who that is, click on the They Work For You link

Tell the media that you want the cemetery to have greater prominence in the newspapers, on the radio and on the television. Write to international media companies so that people living abroad can see the threat we all face.

Ask your church ministers and religious leaders to denounce the use of the cemetery for a dual carriageway. Ask them to release statements to the press, write to Government officials and sign the petition - remember by allowing the Government and Big Business to decimate our cemetery, there will be far-reaching implications for the moral code of our society and national identity.
